Qualifications:

  • 12 years minimum working in a quality control lab related to machined components.
  • 5 years minimum in a management role with responsibilities and a minimum of 5 or more direct reports.
  • Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.
  • Experience with use and calibration of inspection equipment (Bore gauges, Air gauging, Micrometers, Height gauges etc).
  • Previous CMM experience preferred.
  • Experience with ISO and AS quality management system requirements.
  • Ability to perform, oversee and approve PPAP’s, FAIR’s, and statistical analysis studies.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Management of the following roles in quality control department: CMM programmers, CMM operators, quality technicians (manual and visual), receiving / supplier quality, QE’s (document control, FAI’s, PPAP), gauge calibration, non-conforming materials (MRB).
  • Manage department and personnel in support of production and customer requirements while meeting quality and delivery expectations.
  • Responsible for customer, supplier and internal corrective actions ensuring that they are implemented monitored and verified for effectiveness.
  • Performs contract review on customer orders to ensure feasibility in meeting quality requirements/clauses, including risk mitigation, customer flow downs, product verification needs, special studies, and more to support production activities.
  • Ensure that QMS is being followed, assist with internal audits as needed to support ISO, AS, customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer support in regards to technical quality issues, SCARS, source inspection, and customer audits.
  • Technical support for production and quality personnel.
  • Direct and assist with FAIR’s, PPAP’s, Statistical studies etc.

Qualifications:

  • Understand the inspection equipment accuracy and repeatability required for use during product verification.
  • Has the ability to interpret customer drawings, parts lists and BOM’s, including GD&T expertise.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Create balloon drawings utilizing company provided (DISCUS) software.
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports for all required parts using an AS9102 format and provide them to customers for review and approval.
  • Create Designated Inspection Points for final inspections and in-process plans for operator inspections at the machine.
  • Compile shipment documentation, approve jobs for closure (for shipment or move to stock) and issue company Certificate of Compliance for all jobs designated to be delivered.
  • Create and submit Production Part Approval Process plans for all required parts.
  • Support final inspection requirements such as Visual/Dimensional review of product.
  • Coordinate and manage customer source inspections with customer source inspectors, customer service representatives and project engineers.
  • Use customer required documentation formats, including customer internet portals.
  • Report on out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation and corrective action activities and complete a Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) report.
  • Issue and manage suppliers required corrective actions.
  • Prepare, submit and manage requests for deviation to customer where required.
  • Assist with gage R&R activities and capability studies, as required.
  • Control non-conforming material activities, including documentation and disposal (scrap)/Rework activities.
  • Initiate containment by issuing stock pull tickets for suspect product, issue Quality Alerts and communicate with Manufacturing concerning customer rejects and concerns.
  • Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Issue inspection work instructions to manufacturing and/or inspection as required.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent in a manufacturing environment performing product verification activities.
  • Good Communication and Reporting Skills.
  • Understands GD&T and the blueprint map, as it relates to product verification activities.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Support final and receiving inspection requirements such as Visual/Dimensional verification of product.
  • Back up for ballooning/FAIR reporting/documentation support and copulation, as required during overload situations.
  • Manual setup verification activities other than Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Repetitive inspection duties such as sorting - larger sample sizes.
  • Review of product in-process on the floor during fabrication.

Duties & expectations:

  • Operate CMM in a manner that is safe, analyzing product and meeting production expectations set forth by immediate supervisor.Measure and inspect parts with best and most practical methods whether using a CMM, Manual inspection tools, visual inspections or any method that will produce accurate results and best efficiencies.
  • Program CMM for new parts, processes to ensure quality product during setup, in-process and final inspections.
  • When needed, train alternates on how to operate a CMM.
  • Save CMM programs on server for follow on requirements.
  • Support needs of production personnel.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Bridgeport© and TREK© type mills, manual lathes and or manual surface and OD grinders.
  • Ability to learn Prototrak programming.

  • Work with QC to get first piece approved and in-process inspection plan in place.
  • Work with programmers and engineers for any technical issues or trouble shooting on components and fixtures, as needed.
  • Document work on in-process inspection plans and the ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability records.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Look for continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to supervisor for particular machine or project.
  • Understand and be aware of FOD prevention and report any incidents to the department manager.

  • Valid Illinois driver’s license and to be insurable under ERA policy.

  • 1-year prior experience packaging or willing to learn proper packaging of product.

Duties & expectations:

  • Package parts going to outside processes or customer in a safe and clean manner that will protect the product from damage and/or oxidation.
  • Count all parts prior to shipping or delivery and upon receipt to verify quantity.
  • Manage the inventory process using designated locations and make correct entries in the ERP system. Ensure inventory is stored in a clean and safe manner to prevent any damage to the parts.
  • To unpack and bring to inspection product received from outside processing. Parts should be brought to QC unpacked, unless directed otherwise.
  • Required to maintain work area, boxes and supplies in a clean organized fashion.
  • Creating labels for shipping, entering information correctly into our internal system or customer portals.
  • Assist with staging of product or material, including WIP via bins, shelves, carts, pallets etc.
  • To successfully complete ERA fork lift operator instruction course in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Provides help with cleaning and organization of facilities when needed at any location.
  • Driving a company vehicle in a safe manner while being a positive representative of the company when driving and interacting with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Receive incoming items from UPS, FedEx or any other carrier and verify for accuracy against packing list and PO, as applicable.
  • When needed, willingness to work in other areas such as operating, assembly, deburring or other production areas.

  • Aware of FOD and preventing FOD through visual review of finished or WIP product and packaging of product.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Surface Grinder, Jig Bore Grinder, OD Grinder and Mulitspindle Grinder.
  • Experience in working with various material types and tolerances to .0001.

  • Set up and Grind utilizing surface, Jig and OD grinders in a manner that is safe, producing quality product and meeting production expectations set forth by management.
  • Work with QC to get first piece approved and in-process inspection plan in place.
  • Document work on in-process inspection plans and the ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability records.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to supervisor for particular machine or project.
  • Understand and be aware of FOD prevention and report any incidents to the department manager.
  • Be a team player in a team work environment.
  • Have basic measuring tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Test Indicator, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience working in manufacturing related to maintenance of machines and facilities.
  • 3 years working with electrical and/or HVAC equipment.
  • Must have a minimum of two years experience with maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment and controls, PLCs, electronics, electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Must have a strong mechanical and electronic skill set.
  • Experience working as general labor utilizing hand tools, power tools and similar.
  • Ability to work on their feet and lift up to 50lbs.

Duties & expectations:

  • Maintain and manage preventive maintenance program for all machines in support of both production and building to minimize breakdowns or disruptions in the production processes.
  • Participate in installation of new or relocated equipment.
  • Basic Electrical and Mechanical repair of production equipment, HVAC, compressors and other related items.
  • Maintaining of existing electrical lines and connections.
  • Building maintenance, changing of light bulbs, ballasts or minor repairs of facility and/or equipment.
  • Willing to work in a team environment. Work with outside repair and maintenance companies when needed such as but not limited to OEM maintenance technicians, HVAC, outside electricians.
  • Comply with all OSHA and local regulations for safety of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience operating and setting up CNC/EDM equipment.
  • 1 year experience using CAD system Master Cam, Unigraphics, Espirit, SolidWorks or similar is acceptable but additional training may be required.
  • 1 year experience programming CNC machines.
  • Ability to sequence process parts to achieve quality and meet financial objectives.
  • Strong trouble shooting ability with speeds and feeds, work holding, tool selection and machining approach.
  • Ability to work with QC for publication of in-process inspection plans.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Operate CNC machine in a manner that is safe, producing quality product and meeting production expectations set forth by management. Mentor set up and operators, when applicable.
  • Program production parts using existing CAD models, utilizing Master Cam, Unigraphics, Esprit or other.
  • Save programs to network server for follow on orders following company procedure.
  • Design and create work holding fixtures, process and improve work instructions on routers.
  • Report any maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Utilizing existing (new or repeat) programs, tools, fixtures, machine posts and set up parts for 1st piece approval.

  • Maintain FOD awareness and report any incidents to the department manager.

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience with manufacturing process engineering.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience using CAD systems Master Cam, Unigraphics, SolidWorks or similar.
  • Ability to create/design work holding/fixturing and designate tool selection.
  • Ability to sequence process parts to achieve quality and meet financial objectives.
  • Strong trouble shooting ability for work holding, tool selection and machining approach.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a CNC machining or fabrication environment.

Duties & expectations:

  • Create BOM’s, routings, item masters and store related data in ERP system. Maintain proper sequence and flow downs.
  • Conduct contract review on all new parts utilizing proper documentation. Provide material requirements to purchasing.
  • Analyze print, specifications, and requirements to create the most efficient manufacturing process for a part.
  • Interact with customers on technical items such as clarification of drawings, specifications, and design improvement ideas.
  • Understand customer requirements as they are imposed and their effect on each job.
  • Work with production on resolving process related issues.

  • Ability to use respirator for cleaning of product in preparation of brazing.
  • Previous experience in heat treat or brazing is a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions for proper safety and work flow.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clean, Assemble, Braze and solution heat treat aluminum brazements
  • Test brazements per customer and industry specifications.
  • Be qualified to braze in accordance with AWS.
  • Document work per instructions from manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret drawings, strong GD&T skills is a must, follow work instructions and in-process inspection plans.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (all types of Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges, Dial Gauges, Dial and Test Indicators, Height Gauge and Air Gauges.
  • Ability to mount and load tooling, fixtures, vises, jaws and touch off all tooling, set offsets and set work zeros.
  • Ability to produce a first piece inspection part, basic trouble shooting of speeds & feeds, and tool wear.
  • Minimum experience working on CNC machines 3-5 years.
  • Experience working with tight tolerances .0001, and various materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless (PH grades) etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC Lathe or Mill following work instructions and utilizing existing program and submit for first piece approval.
  • Train operators to run safe and efficiently while maintaining quality of the part.
  • Improve existing processes when required.
  • Document work on in process plans, production logs, router and ERP systems as applicable.
  • Insure set up are capable of running multiple shifts and mentor operators accordingly.
  • Work with quality department on insuring a quality product and implementing inspection plans.
