Qualifications:

  • 5 years of prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment and repairs.
  • General maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling (HVAC), and other building systems.
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work on their feet and lift up to 50lbs.

Duties & expectations:

  • Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repairs.
  • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
  • Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to safety of personal and facility.
  • Look for continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret customer drawings, work instructions, in-process control plans and understand GD&T.
  • 3 years experience operating and setting up CNC/EDM equipment.
  • 1 year experience using CAD system Master Cam, Unigraphics, Espirit, SolidWorks or similar is acceptable but additional training may be required.
  • 1 year experience programming CNC machines.
  • Ability to sequence process parts to achieve quality and meet financial objectives.
  • Strong trouble shooting ability with speeds and feeds, work holding, tool selection and machining approach.
  • Ability to work with QC for publication of in-process inspection plans.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Operate CNC machine in a manner that is safe, producing quality product and meeting production expectations set forth by management. Mentor set up and operators, when applicable.
  • Program production parts using existing CAD models, utilizing Master Cam, Unigraphics, Esprit or other.
  • Save programs to network server for follow on orders following company procedure.
  • Design and create work holding fixtures, process and improve work instructions on routers.
  • Report any maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Utilizing existing (new or repeat) programs, tools, fixtures, machine posts and set up parts for 1st piece approval.
  • Look for continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Work with QC to get first piece approved and in-process inspection plans in place.
  • Work with other programmers for any technical issues or trouble shooting when needed.
  • Train operators(1st and 2nd shift) to properly run production and document inspections, as required.
  • Document work on in-process inspection plans, production log, router and ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability and quality records.
  • Maintain FOD awareness and report any incidents to the department manager.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to immediate supervisor for particular machine or project.
  • Have basic measuring tools: Caliper, Micrometer, Test Indicator and maintain within current calibration.
  • Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether personal or company supplied. If not in proper calibration notify quality department to have corrected immediately.
  • Handle all inspection equipment, machines and parts in a manner that will not damage or compromise integrity.
  • In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, may be asked to do any of the following but not limited to: CNC Set Up, Cleaning, Operator, Manual Machining, Tool Management, In-process inspection of ongoing production parts.
  • Maintain a positive attitude. Be team leader and team player. Keep clean and organized work area.
  • Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.

Qualifications:

  • Understand the inspection equipment accuracy and repeatability required for use during product verification.
  • Has the ability to interpret customer drawings, parts lists and BOM’s, including GD&T expertise.
  • Good Reporting Skills, including support of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Has the ability to communicate with customer representatives (quality and engineering) to address concerns and assist with solving job-related problems, as applicable to quality.
  • Can organize and prioritize job related duties.
  • Has the ability to mentor quality technicians and shop personnel by sharing job related information provided by the customer.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Create balloon drawings utilizing company provided (DISCUS) software.
  • Create First Article Inspection Reports for all required parts using an AS9102 format and provide them to customers for review and approval.
  • Create Designated Inspection Points for final inspections and in-process plans for operator inspections at the machine.
  • Compile shipment documentation, approve jobs for closure (for shipment or move to stock) and issue company Certificate of Compliance for all jobs designated to be delivered.
  • Create and submit Production Part Approval Process plans for all required parts.
  • Support final inspection requirements such as Visual/Dimensional review of product.
  • Coordinate and manage customer source inspections with customer source inspectors, customer service representatives and project engineers.
  • Use customer required documentation formats, including customer internet portals.
  • Report on out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation and corrective action activities and complete a Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) report.
  • Issue and manage suppliers’ required corrective actions.
  • Prepare, submit and manage requests for deviation to customer where required.
  • Assist with gage R&R activities and capability studies, as required.
  • Control non-conforming material activities, including documentation and disposal (scrap)/Rework activities.
  • Initiate containment by issuing stock pull tickets for suspect product, issue Quality Alerts and communicate with Manufacturing concerning customer rejects and concerns.
  • Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Issue inspection work instructions to manufacturing and/or inspection as required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the QE Manager.

  • Identify, when applicable, continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience with manufacturing process engineering.
  • Ability to interpret customer drawings, work instructions, in-process control plans and understand GD&T.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience using CAD systems Master Cam, Unigraphics, SolidWorks or similar.
  • Ability to create/design work holding/fixturing and designate tool selection.
  • Ability to sequence process parts to achieve quality and meet financial objectives.
  • Strong trouble shooting ability for work holding, tool selection and machining approach.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a CNC machining or fabrication environment.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Create BOM’s, routings, item masters and store related data in ERP system. Maintain proper sequence and flow downs.
  • Conduct contract review on all new parts utilizing proper documentation. Provide material requirements to purchasing.
  • Analyze print, specifications, and requirements to create the most efficient manufacturing process for a part.
  • Interact with customers on technical items such as clarification of drawings, specifications, and design improvement ideas.
  • Understand customer requirements as they are imposed and their effect on each job.
  • Work with production on resolving process related issues.
  • Create process drawings as required.
  • Create and help design fixtures and work holdings to support production or quality.
  • Support repeat jobs as needed.
  • Support estimating when needed in regards to process or drawing/tolerance concerns.
  • Manage flow down of all internal, customer, and regulatory requirements to vendors.
  • Assist with internal and external corrective actions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work space.
  • Willing to work in a team environment and interact with departmental and supplier personnel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and ability to properly interpret customer drawings, GD&T, work instructions, and in-process inspection plans.
  • Ability to use measuring tools including, nut not limited to, micrometers, calipers, thread gages, bore gages, dial and test indicators and height gages.
  • Ability to mount and load tooling, fixtures, vises, jaws and touch off all tooling, set offsets and set work zeros.
  • Ability to produce a first piece inspection part.
  • Basic trouble shooting of speeds & feeds, tool application and wear.
  • 2 years minimum experience working on CNC machines.
  • Ability to train operators to run and inspect parts approved for production.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Operate a CNC machine in a manner that is safe, producing quality product and meeting production expectations set forth by management.
  • Utilize CNC programs, set up tools, fixtures, work zeros and set up machines with first piece approval.
  • Work with QC to get the first piece approved and in-process inspection plans in place. Request all inspection or set up gages required to check parts at the machine.
  • Work with programmers for any technical issues or trouble shooting when needed.
  • Ensure that machine access door interlock is operable, as access door should remain locked during machine operation.
  • Mentor operators (all shifts) to properly run production and document inspection, as required.
  • Document work on inspection plans and the ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability and records.
  • Identify continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety, and quality to supervisor.
  • Ensure that the FOD program is being adhered to during production activities.
  • Have basic measuring tools: Caliper, Micrometer, Test Indicator, ect.
  • Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether personal or company supplied. If not in proper calibration notify quality department to have calibrated immediately.
  • Handle inspection equipment, machines and parts in a manner that will not cause damage or compromise integrity.
  • In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, you are expected to do any of the following, not limited to: Cleaning, Operator, Manual Machining, Tool Management, Inspection of ongoing production parts.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Be a team player in a team work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to properly read and interpret drawings, work instructions and in-process inspection plans.
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools (Micrometer, Caliper, Thread Gages, Pin Gages, Bore Gages, Indicators, Height Gages).
  • At least 2-years’ experience working on CNC machines.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Operate CNC machine in a manner that is safe, producing quality product and meeting production expectations as set forth by management.
  • Document work on in-process inspection plans and the ERP system as applicable to maintain traceability and records.
  • Change inserts and make simple offsets.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Understand and be aware of FOD prevention and report any incidents to the department manager.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety and quality to supervisor for particular machine or project.
  • Look for optimization of production time and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Be a team player in a team work environment.
  • Have basic measuring tools (Caliper, Micrometer, ect).
  • Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether personal or company supplied. If not in proper calibration, notify quality department to have calibrated immediately.
  • Handle machines, parts, and inspection equipment in a manner that will not cause damage or compromise product integrity.
  • In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, you are expected to do any of the following, not limited to: Deburring, Assembly, Cleaning, Shipping and Receiving.
