Qualifications:

  • 10 years minimum working in a quality control lab related to machined components.
  • 3 years minimum in a management role with responsibilities and a minimum of 5 or more direct reports.
  • Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.
  • Experience with use and calibration of inspection equipment (Bore gauges, Air gauging, Micrometers, Height gages etc).
  • Previous CMM experience preferred.
  • Experience with ISO and AS quality management system requirements.
  • Ability to perform, oversee and approve PPAP’s, FAIR’s, and statistical analysis studies.
  • Ability to identify inspection gauging, fixture needs and recommend purchase, as applicable.
  • Must have experience working in companies related to CNC Machining minimum 5 years.
  • Previous experience working with Prime Aerospace customers and approved special process and raw material suppliers.

Duties & Expectations:

  • Management of the following roles in quality control department: CMM programmers, CMM operators, quality technicians (manual and visual), receiving / supplier quality, QE’s (document control, FAI’s, PPAP), gauge calibration, non conforming materials (MRB).
  • Manage department and personnel in support of production and customer requirements while meeting quality and delivery expectations.
  • Responsible for customer, supplier and internal corrective actions ensuring that they are implemented monitored and verified for effectiveness.
  • Performs contract review on customer orders to ensure feasibility in meeting quality requirements/clauses, including risk mitigation, customer flow downs, product verification needs, special studies, and more to support production activities.
  • Ensure that QMS is being followed, assist with internal audits as needed to support ISO, AS, customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer support in regards to technical quality issues, SCARS, source inspection, and customer audits.
  • Technical support for production and quality personnel.
  • Direct and assist with FAIR’s, PPAP’s, Statistical studies etc.
  • Ensure quality employees are properly trained, cross trained and mentored.
  • Lead continuous improvement of processes, product verification activities and understands the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret drawings, strong GD&T skills is a must, follow work instructions and in-process inspection plans.
  • Ability to use measuring tools (all types of Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges, Dial Gauges, Dial and Test Indicators, Height Gauge and Air Gauges.
  • Ability to mount and load tooling, fixtures, vises, jaws and touch off all tooling, set offsets and set work zeros.
  • Ability to produce a first piece inspection part, basic trouble shooting of speeds & feeds, and tool wear.
  • Minimum experience working on CNC machines 3-5 years.
  • Experience working with tight tolerances .0001, and various materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless (PH grades) etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC Lathe or Mill following work instructions and utilizing existing program and submit for first piece approval.
  • Train operators to run safe and efficiently while maintaining quality of the part.
  • Improve existing processes when required.
  • Document work on in process plans, production logs, router and ERP systems as applicable.
  • Insure set up are capable of running multiple shifts and mentor operators accordingly.
  • Work with quality department on insuring a quality product and implementing inspection plans.

ERA Industries is looking for an individual to lead our recruiting and hiring needs related to manufacturing, engineering and office positions. This is a fulltime position but will consider part-time candidate as well.

Qualifications

  • Prior Staffing or Recruiting experience preferred (staffing manufacturing positions is a plus)
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding and employment verification
  • Experience with Human Resources a plus
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish or Polish is a plus and preferred
  • Must be organized and have strong communication skills
  • Experience with interviews phone and face to face

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advertise job openings across multiple platforms (e.g. job boards, career pages, social platforms)
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify current and future needs
  • Attend job fairs
  • Recruit talent for all areas needed for multiple locations
  • Work with local high school and community colleges to develop internships and apprenticeship programs
  • Perform employee on boarding for I-9, documentation and new employee information and introduction
  • Employee benefit enrollment assistance
  • Other related duties and clerical requirements may be required

Qualifications

  • Experience using inspection tools such as Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauge, Thread and Pin Gauge, Dial Indicators, Air Gauges and Microscopes
  • Ability to read drawings and understand GD&T
  • Previous Experience working with CNC machined components 2 years minimum in either a quality inspector or machine operator role

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of machined parts using Micrometers, Calipers, Thread and Pin gauges, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, Air Gauges etc.
  • Visual inspection by eye, or under magnification with a loop or microscope
  • First piece, in process and final inspections
  • Documenting per procedures and customer requirements
  • Ability to read blue prints and understand GD&T

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret drawings, strong GD&T skills is a must, follow work instructions and in-process inspection plans>?

  • Work with quality department on insuring a quality product and implementing inspection plans
