Milling

Our focus in Milling is Horizontal and 5 Axis Milling with multiple pallets and, large tooling stations to dedicate set ups for long term runs and the ability to do 24 hours 7 days a week machining in a lights-out environment.

5 Axis – Our 5 Axis Mills have up to 30 pallet stations per machine and over 300+ tooling pockets per machine to give us the flexibility to dedicate multiple parts and operations without having to break them down. This flexibility allows us to meet our customers’ ever changing MRP demands and minimize set-ups and quality inspection time with these dedicated set ups. Once a project has gotten through initial runs and FAIR’s we can minimize lead times and set up cost for long-term success.

Horizontal – Our Horizontal department takes the same philosophy as our 5 Axis. With multiple tombstones and an Erowa pallet system on the tombstones we essentially have endless possibilities for dedicated set-ups coupled with over 120 tooling stations. We optimize these for lights-out machining as well and have redundancy in place for full flexibility.

3 Axis – We continue to have multiple 3 Axis machines for slightly larger work and shorter runs when required. Most of our 3 Axis equipment has the flexibility to utilize 4 and 5 Axis trunnion tables to give us greater flexibility. Our sister company in Wheeling A&M Tool has large amount of 3 Axis equipment which we can also leverage for greater capacity.
